ToP Strategic Planning training presents a structured planning process which incorporates the Technology of Participation(ToP)® Facilitation Methods into productive action and concrete accomplishments.  Training sessions include:

 

• Strategic Planning Event Design and Preparation

• 3 - 5 Year Practical Vision

• Identifying Barriers

• Developing Strategic Directions

• Identifying First Year Accomplishments

• Creating an Implementation Plan

Prerequisite Course:

 

Please note that ToP Facilitation Methods training is a pre-requisite course for all Strategic Planning course participants.

 

Format of the Training:

 

• Two day training for 10-20 participants

• Two ToP Trainers

• Optional individual coaching to help course participants integrate these facilitation methods into their work.

 

Anticipated Outcomes:

 

• Enhanced group capacity for creative strategy building.

• Groups come to a common vision, create a "group-owned" plan, and deal with whatever issues block them from goal attainment.

• Facilitators learn and practice the complete ToP Strategic Planning process.

• Course participants learn how to weave together the basic ToP Facilitation tools into planning sessions and retreats that typically take several days.
